Version 5.7.0 of Iperius Backup introduced a powerful feature for backing up Exchange Online, part of the Office 365 suite.
Also, in the Exchange Server (On-Premises) backup, you can now export mail messages as individual .eml files as well as a .PST file
Iperius therefore becomes the best software for Exchange backup, thanks to an outstanding price/features ratio. With a single license it is possible to connect to any Exchange Server in the network and make backups without any limitation. The backups can then be compressed, protected with AES encryption and transferred to multiple destinations, such as NAS, FTP servers, cloud services like Google Drive, Amazon S3, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.
In this version we also have a considerable extension of the backup capabilities on S3 compatible services. In fact, Iperius now supports backup to Aruba Cloud Object Storage, Wasabi and ProfitBricks.
Finally, full TLS support for secure connections was introduced in the FTP backup.
Some problems have also been solved:
- Hyper-V Backup: Fixed a bug in listing VM files on some systems
- S3 Backup: Fixed some compatibility issues and checking the maximum file size
- PostgreSQL and MySQL backup: fixed a UTF8 problem in the initial record count
- Drive Image: fixed an incorrect error message when verifying the backup
