New version 2.9 of Iperius Backup.
This version introduces two important features:
- Backup and restore of MySQL and MariaDB databases
- FTP synchronization: option to delete old files and therefore maintain mirror copies
Iperius is now one of the most complete and easy-to-use software to back up MySQL. With a single license, and a single installation (version Advanced DB, at 146 €) you can run the backup (dump) of unlimited databases and servers, both local and remote, with built-in encryption and compression. Iperius can backup MySQL databases and transfer then via FTP in a completely automatic way, thanks to the FTPS protocol and AES 256 bit encryption.
The MySQL backup comes in addition to the backup of Oracle and SQL Server, in a single license and at the same cost.
On the other hand, FTP synchronization is a very powerful feature. Now it is possible to automatically delete from FTP server those files that have been deleted locally, avoiding waste of space and keeping perfect mirror copies.
