New version 3.7 of Iperius Backup, which includes exciting new features, including:
- SFTP: possibility to make FTP uploads and downloads using the secure protocol SFTP (SSH). With this protocol, you can also easily connect to a Linux server and make a copy of the data, as well as download backup files automatically after you launched a backup of Oracle or MySQL on remote Linux servers.
- FTP and SFTP Backup (upload) with multiple connections: this new mode allows Iperius to double the speed on file transfer, especially when you have a large number of small files to be transferred. So we have a big performance boost in remote backup.
- Filter based on file size: now, for each item, you can specify a filter to include or exclude files based on their size. This allows you to automatically exclude files bigger than a certain size (useful for online backup) and to optimize some backup types.
- Open File Backup (VSS) is now included in the Desktop edition: with the introduction of this powerful function even in the entry-level version of Iperius, now everyone can copy open files. So you can now backup Outlook emails at only € 29.
There are several other improvements and some minor bug fixes.
